New in:- Chanel Matelassees de chanel ombres palette in Charming

I just got my new Chanel Matelasses palette in charming from Boots and I just had to share it with you all! I found out that Chanel would be doing another 5 eyeshadow palette a few weeks ago and I was so excited that this release would be available to everyone and not limited to select boutiques as the past couple of limited edition releases have been.

The last time one of these types of palettes were available or rather where chanel had started this type of eyeshadow palette was with the Chanel ombre perlees. (I can stick up a picture if you want me to)

I have my eyes on a couple of other items from this collection but didnt want to go crazy as im on a new shopping ban and no this palette is not breaking any rules, this is an essential must have for me! 

But for now I'll leave you all to enjoy some pictures of this palette 

(that I took on the new iphone 5s in indoor evening lighting. )

New in :- Benefit little love potions

Im loving these gorgeous goodies from Benefit in dinky little travel sizes 

Since I have such a huge makeup collection its not economical for me to have full sizes of all the products I like at all times.

 sets like this make my life so much easier so in this way I can eat my cake and have it :) 

I know thats really cheeky but its true! 

The set includes the following items 

 -Its potent eye cream 

-High beam highlighter

-Posie tint stain 

-Stay dont stray eye primer 

-That gal brightening face primer 

-The porefessional face primer 

-Watts up highlighter

-Hoola bronzing powder 

-Hoola lipgloss

These products are going to make great handbag/travel products for me, they also make great trial products if you are unsure of buying the full size as the set is just under £30 which is near enough the amount for one benefit product which are usually around the £20 mark give or take. 

Currently I have my eyes on the complete Benefit flawless range which I have used items from in the past but im thinking of getting the whole kit and kaboodle - the Flawless primer, foundation, fake it concealer, and flawless powder. But Im just procrastinating since Im putting myself on a shopping ban as I need to use up current items before I allow myself to buy anymore products for now. 

(I'll see how long that lasts!)

Now im a really big fan of Clarins Skincare products especially the beauty flash balm face and the beauty flash eyes, to name but a few. 

but I realised earlier this year that I have not tried any of their cosmetic products ever!

So I picked up their splendours summer bronzer and eyeshadow kits which I will review and include a face of the day, look also. 

I had £15 debenhams beauty points and now that you can spend your points online I decided to try this new service out, unfortunately I learned that you can only make a full payment 

 using points, if they are available to cover the cost of the order, I usually tend to just use up the points that are about to expire. Anyway I bought the clarins all about lips kit to try out all of the different lip products.

I was very happy to receive this kit, as its very versatile as far as product type is concerned 

all of the colours are very wearable and they smell very nice. 

They come in a makeup bag which is very small and squishy so should fit in most bags including small bags I can fit in a small eyeliner, small mascara, small eyebrow kit or face powder compact and mini makeup brushes in this bag. 

The bag looks white but also has a very pretty shimmer going through it 

Overall Im very happy with this purchase.

New in:- Les pinceau de Chanel pinceau poudre biseaute, angled powder brush no2

Angled powder brush review

I think you all know how much I love my Chanel products let alone the tan de soleil range 

These bronzers were all limited edition are sadly no longer available :(

 They do come with a very generous brush in the compact but in the case of the 4 facettes bronzing powder in bronze corail 507 (the one with the coral strip at the bottom) I do find that it is very pigmented and quite difficult to apply due to this, and this is why this has been my least used until now. 

When I first saw the angled powder brush my first thoughts were literally 'OMG, I need this brush for my chanel bronzers'

And finally, today I decided to treat myself from Boots I was really good and purchased it with my Boots advantage card points. The brush retails for £42 and is available here and here  and here 

The brush is quite dense, and is not very soft so it does pick up alot of product and gives quite a pigmented finish.

 Due to its angled cut it makes a great brush to contour the cheeks and is equally good for bronzer or highlighter. 

I also have the chanel blush brush which I have had a long time now and I will also review soon

MAC Semi precious Collection review and swatches

I had to take these pics with my iphone 4 because I dont want to look  like a complete weirdo taking photos of makeup with a big camera, but Ill manage looking like a partial weirdo taking pictures with my iphone 4. 

I hope this helps to give you an idea of colours and shades etc if your still on the fence as to whether you want to buy certain products or not.

I really felt that this collection was really nice but since I have bought so many mac cosmetics over the past 12 months let alone from the mineralize line I felt it would be best if I did not go to crazy.
( I think I bought all of the in the groove eyeshadows)

Tempted to buy atleast 5 of these merged eyshadows but refrained with difficulty, I also like to buy all of the mac limited edition brushes but I think the split fibre does not suit my purposes due to my useage techniques.

Haul:- MAC Cham pale and mickey contractor

Sorry to say that I have been really bad at sharing my beauty purchases with you all. 

I know its a favourite type of post for many!

I have yet to share with you my Venemous villains purchases as well as my holiday collection purchases 

and ALOT of non MAC stuffys as well including too faced, Urban decay, Chanel, YSL, Dior and all of that!

I promise to do this shortly

So the new collections of Cham pale and Mickey contractor launched at Debenhms today so I obviously had to be there 1st day (im often the 1st to swatch fresh products -the feeling of it is like the sweet smell of freshly baked bread!)

But sorry to say my review is often the last to go up :(

I had kind of researched what I thought I wanted but often these items are different in reality and other products present themselves better.

I am the queen of neutral and cham pale screams out neutral, but I really went over bored on warm and cozy collection and ive still not even touched some of those items.

I am going to think about whether 'I need' any of the other items as this year I dont want to spend as much money on makeup as my collection is so big its about 40 drawers including skincare and toiletries.

I was not going to miss out on the 2 eyeliners being
MAC khol in I get no kick
MAC khol power in feline
both limited edition from the cham pale collection

Im surprised that feline was not in the previous fabulous felines collection as the name suits and also not in the hello kitty collection again because of the name -ahh well whats in a name?

I also thought I was going to get the oomph shadow from mickey contractor collection and i still might but Rani really spoke out to me it was my 2nd eyeshadow choice but I never thought I would leave oomph for Rani, but Rani is so me, its pink, its pigmented, its a frost so its shimmery and basically that shouts out my requirements for a shadow (although all of my shadows dont have to be pink)

I have had my eyes on dainty mineralize blush for ages now but its been sold out on the UK mac website but it had been sold out for ages so I picked it up in debenhams.

One word ( . . . or a few) on the Mickey contractor collection if you are asian/olive skintoned seriously check it out, this guy seems to know his stuff, the range is gorgeous and compliments asian skintones.
I feel like Ive had a nice chocolate I have the urge to go back to get more.

The stylishly yours collection was not in store so I was really upset about that so Ill have to make purchases online!

Baby essentials Haul

Coz even babies have beauty routines!

and their toiletries occupy our bags!

Im super careful of what I use on my kids 

not just because babys have delicate skins anyway, but my kids have inherited my super sensitive dry eczema prone skin.

And also that Im such a snob when it comes to the things I use on myself that its only fair to use similar quality products on them. 

Bubby my 2 year old can get quite colic-y so I use Avent bottles they are about £7 per bottle but they are made in a way that prevents windy and reflux problems in babys, -Does it work? I really think it does I picked a pack of 3 for £5 bottles for her and they just leaked and gave her colic.

I also love Infacol drops -the packaging is perfect because its a dropper and so you dont need a spoon to feed it to baby, and you can give it after every feed and its so mild its suitable from birth, whereas gripe water you have to wait for 3/4 months. (not pictured)

Bubby is a complete pampers baby not only is it a good quality but on special packs (see sticker on above pack)  you are actually paying for a child in the third world to have a vaccine, pampers pays a portion from each special pack to UNICEF the amount for a vaccine for a baby.

we all take vaccines for granted but babys out there can survive baby illnesses and injurys and have a chance to life.

Simple wipes are really good, they are not just dermatologically tested as most brands advertise but they are actually also paediatrician approved! Me and bubby actually share these they are great for makeup removal, I have super sensitive skin so I can get slight stinging on the eye area.

but its also great to use to wipe your makeup brushes clean on. and they cost only £2 also the simple baby range now features the cute me to you teddy bear.

Simple talc is fragrance free so gain its really good for sensitive skins, you can also use this on yourself on your body to absorb excess oils and sweat etc, and also a light dusting on the roots of your hair for people with greasy hair, also you can use this to set your makeup as most makeup powders are talc based anyway and again this item only costs £2.

Im new to this nuby sports drink bottle

I bought it whilst it was on offer at boots, but Im rather pleased with myself, its a no spill type of bottle which is fantastic for mums with babys as babys always spill everything so its one less thing to worry about!

Bepanthen cream is so good but it is expensive -about £4 for a tiny tube as above, I usually buy the bepanthen wipes but even they are about £4 for something measly like 12 mini wipes, the whole point in these wipes is that they are impregnated with baby nappy rash cream, the cream is good for travel in the tube or in the wipes, but generally for at home use Ive always sworn by Sudocrem, Ive recently also tried out the simple nappy rash cream which is also good and so is the johnsons one.

ohh nappy rash creams can be used on sores or rashes on adults as well.

other products the baby uses are shared products between me and her such as liz earle, decleor, loccitane, E45, Aveeno and body shop.

Elnett Hairspray is yearz old, it definitely has a cult following, many stylist rate this higher than more expensive brands, and the main point is that it is still around.

I used to buy really expensive hairsprays but when I realised this simple fact, I moved to Elnett!

I think everyone knows That Cheryl Cole is L'oreals new model, shes so lucky they dedicated their top seller product to her and put her face on a limited edition can!

I have always been a fan of the Glam Shine lipglosses, The above purple shade is mass advertised, it is Cheryl coles favourite shade, it is a plummy colour Ill do a proper lip swatch for you sometime or incorporate it into a FOTD.

I also picked up a pretty pink shade as it was on offer 2 for £12

Max Factor was doing a GWP so I picked two items

Their translucent Loose powder which is one of my fave loose powders ever!

And I picked up the waterproof version of their False lash effect mascara which is definitely my favourite High street mascara, the waterproof version is a nightmare to remove.

I used to be a big fan of OPI nail polish remover and would rarely use anything else until Nails inc became available and I would purchase either OPI or nails inc.

One day i happened to try the bourjois nailpolish remover just for testing purposes and I really was impressed quality wise a small difference but not a huge difference and a saving of about 75% on the premium brand versions. So Im not saying Im never going to buy the expensive ones but for now Im happy with this one, the other thing is that there is a small hole in the top so that remover will not gush out if you drop it, its these small things that make me appreciate products!

I dont usually just buy celebrity inspired things unless I feel it fits a purpose for me

and had to pop into the new Select store that has just opened

as I used to shop there in my teens

(when I was skinny back in the days - aahhh the memories)

I picked up a pair of jeggings to wear with my summer dresses, long tees and Kurta tops or kaftans

A gorgeous gold bag that reminds me of my Louis Vuitton speedy 25 that is now too small for me as I have to carry alot of toddler things though I can down size but I dont want to spoil my bag with baby foods and toiletries etc
