The prettiest pink rococo nail apparel

I sat down to do my nails and had to capture this pretty moment, its so pretty and pink! 

very appropriate for octobers breast cancer care month.

I really think that doing your own manicure is one of the best things you can do, sometimes when im stuck in a situation where I really need to think about something, I find that doing my 

nails really can help to relax me during the process and gives me a little breather as well as it allows me to think freely. Also, as your hands are on constant show to others as well as being in your own personal view all day long, so its good to have well manicured hands it really makes you feel much better and happier.

NOTD:- Leighton Denny Between Blue

Blue has always been my favourite colour because I love all shades of blue its such a beautiful colour it reminds me of the sky and the sea, I also love jeans and denim and can rock it in so many different ways. 

This is one of leighton dennys latest shades from his spring 2013 collection and this particular colour reminds me of the mid shade from the les jeans de chanel colour. unfortunately I missed out on Chanel coco blue so I didn't buy the other two shades from the collection in a tantrum. 

Leighton denny products are available from John lewis and QVC

This colour is quite opaque in one coat and dries in a few minutes however i do feel that the Leighton denny colours are easy to damage within an hour or so similar to post nail polishes

I am wearing  OPI nail envy as a base coat, 2 coats of between blue and one coat of seche vite top coat. 

I have alot of nail posts coming up as Ive pickedup some amazing shades from leighton denny, OPI, nails inc, Chanel, and Dior.

NOTD:- Ciate Bon bon

Dont you just love the packaging of the Ciate nail paint pots?  I actually have abit of a 'bow' obsession, I think bows are just so cute and adorable, I like bows in my accessories and in my jewellery on my clothes, on my presents...... I think you get the picture. 

My hands are still quite weak and therefore its still a miracle that I manage to paint my nails at all, let alone get a neat application. Im wearing two coats as one coat of Ciate formula tends to apply quite streaky, and you can probably see I have a booboo due to the nail polish still being damage-able 15-20 minutes after application. I usually prefer to do my nails of the day without top coats as some top coats such as the one that I mainly use , Seche vite tends to alter the colour. 

I love love love this shade, its so hard to describe but Ill have to say that bonbon is a sweet, creamy, milky, baby, taupe, and I thank Marie Claire for having this freeby with the magazine.

I think this shade is suitable for absolutely any occasion and any season it so light that its almost pastel like, but being a taupe shade makes it very universal, and being a neutral shade it goes with everything.

NOTD :- Revlon Fuchsia Fever

Revlon nail lacquer in fuchsia fever no 040

 Its been two months since I've been able to paint my nails but today I decided I jut had to apply this colour it is the most gorgeous pink ever, I fell in love with t when it was displayed with other revlon nail polishes at the checkout I immediately picked it up and had to have it.

 My hands are still uber weak and shaky after the accident (see previous post for details) so the application is clearly somewhat messy but I dont care I think the fact that I've applied it myself feels like an achievement :) I think I should have probably started off with an OPI nail lacquer for its pro brush or a nails inc for its formula which are probably better brands for people with dexterity issues in their hands.

 Im somewhat addicted to fuchsia warmer pinks at the moment, im loving all thats pink which is funny because this has been a very orange summer for me so moving on to the pinks this autumn.

I've also pictured the revlon colorburst lipstick in fuchsia no 030 which is such a gorgeous vibrant pink. Im usually not into such bright colours but I'm really like them for the moment!

NOTD:- Revlon Red 680

Revlon Red is an iconic classic red from about the 1950's but it was discontinued 

and I think it was relaunched in 2011

It is a true red shade -literally the shade of healthy fresh red blood 

 it is available in a lip nail combo which is fab for those amongst us who love a matching lip nail combo
I like this idea but its not a must have for me, its more of a just a nice to have.
The matching lipstick is Revlon super lustrous lipstick in ' Revlon Red  730 ' it is a creme formula

I do like Revlon nail polishes, they are high quality, dont contain alot of the nasty chemicals found in nail polishes and quite affordable at around £6.50 from boots and superdrugs

I have recently found that you can buy some nice revlon nail polish shades online at cheapsmells for about £3 which includes delivery in UK.
so check out that website for discounted products including Mac cosmetics, I recently purchased an eye cream and had a good snoop on the website.

Revlon Red nail Enamel on the nails 

I have on two coats of revlon red, and a finishing coat of my Seche Vite top coat

The Revlon nail enamels are quite opaque 

and this shade is a creme formula and opaque in one coat 

I did want to see how long it lasts with two coats 

but I did find my nail color to get damaged after an hour of application this time 

There was a rumour going around that you may have heard where christian louboutin was considering a red under sole for his shoes and grabbed his secretarys nail polish which was Revlon red and painted the under-side of the shoe with the lacquer which is where he supposedly got the inspiration for the red undersoles of his shoe. 

Im unsure as to whether there is any truth in this as I find that the undersole of my louboutins are a slightly more orange shade compared to the true redness of the revlon red. 

(ps I know I have tinsy feet)

The revlon red is a perfect match for my red patent leather iphone 4 clutch case though!

Maybe there might be a new story to go around?

NOTD :- Nails inc Electric Teal and OPI Bring on the Bling

My Nail of the day 

There are so many days when I dont know what I want to put on my nails 

but earlier this week I woke up knowing I was going to wear this Nails inc Electric Teal on my nails.

I wish i took these pics outdoor so that you could see how vibrant the glitter is.

This is the combo that i was going to wear for Eid but as it was still some what summery I knew i would have plenty of opportunity to wear this combo later in the year as I could see that teal was going to be on trend this fall and winter.

The teal shade I very luckily got as a GWP in instyle magazine its called 

Nails inc for InStyle 'Electric Teal'

and the glitter colour is OPI's 'Bring on the Bling' 

which I feel is appropriately named to my style :)

I am wearing one coat of each polish 

the glitter can be layered for a very intensive look 

But glitter can be a bitch to remove 

Im loving this Combo <3

Ciate paint pots 

Gorgeous deep berry purple 

perfect for this season -and ohh so 'in' !

ciate wait until dark is similar or close to OPI lincoln park after dark and lincoln park at midnight  but not an exact dupe

but if you wished you could find a nail polish that matches the colour of laura mercier packaging -this is it :)

Sorry about the chipping on the tips but atleast it gives you an idea of longevity after 2 days with only one coat of polish over base coat no top coat

I have my hands constantly in and out of water etc

Raspcherry finally Shatters !

The whole world has been crackling etc for such a long time 

but I just could not get into it 

It just reminds me of messy nail polish 

but done correctly in the right combination i have seen some very pretty pictures 

but I felt maybe its something very school - girl like 

But I finally Crack-led when I picked up a gold nails inc nails effect polish 

but I still did not use it and Ive had it a few months now 

And earlier this week I purchased the OPI gold shatter and finally used it over my OPI Malaga Wine

I think its a gorgeous combination 

perfect for christmas or any asian bride or bollywood style outfit 

For comparison i will try and do a nails inc crackle so you can see the two together 

Would love to know/ see some of your combos <3

NOTD :- OPI Malaga Wine

If your looking for a gorgeous wine red 

this is the colour for you 

It is one of OPI's top best sellers 

and I think its in the classic collection -but please dont quote me on that just in case 

This is such a vampy colour but is still sophisticated enough to wear in a high profile job or party, night out, wedding etc  

In the pic is just one coat of OPI malaga wine over nails inc caviar base coat 

As always its quite difficult to paint your nails with a 3 year old princess on standby demanding her nails be done first

The pics are taken in broad daylight but seem to make the nail lacquer look more cherry red

but the nail polish is more of a black cherry shade

NOTD:- Revlon Gray Suede 030

 Nails of the day revlon gray suede 030

This nail polish is the perfect nude shade for darker skintones 

it would be a nude shade for medium to medium dark skintones 

and a pretty polish colour on all other skintones 

Its a colour that is great to use on days where your not to sure about what you want to wear on your nails 

and it gives a very smart polished look 

so great for interviews, work or an appearance in court

NOTD:- Revlon Lilac pastelle 031

 Revlon nail polishes are affordable, you get alot of product for the price about £6.29 it is good quality, as it does not have alot of nasty chemicals, it does dry in about 5 minutes and one coat can be reasonable for anyone who like me cannot be bothered with multiple coats.

Revlon Lilac pastelle 031 is a pretty pastel shade, its quite opaque, and above is one coat.

I think this colour is very complimentary of all skintones from palest ivory to the darkest mocha skintones

NOTD :- Butter london -No more wait-ey katie

This is my first ever Butter london nail polish 

Im usually quite restricted within my comfort zone 

and tend to stick yo OPI and nails inc but I always want to try other brands but im often disappointed  with quality especially if a high end product fails me 

Butter London no more waitey Katie is such a gorgeous colour, Ive had my eyes on it for ages and finally decided that Im going to try this brand out

I love the colour,
It seems extremely sheer but if you put on a thicker layer its abit more less sheer (I hope you know what i mean)
And 2 or more coats go on very opaque

Quality wise I do find it starts chipping very fast, but Ive not tried it with a top coat as yet , Ill update this post or tweet about it once ive tried it with a top coat.

I was wearing one coat but as it was chipped I applied a second coat for the pictures to blog about this

I did find this dries very fast

Butter london do notadd the three major harmful chemicals often found in nail care and polishes so i found this useful

The packaging is nice, Similar to Chanel the bottles come with 2 lids

The brush is decent and application is good

This cost me £15 from debenhams
and the bottle conttains 11ml 0.4 fl oz of formula

Im loving this colour for this autumn / fall season

NOTD :- Nails inc Heather grey

I really really like Nails Inc nail polishes and my nails inc collection of polishes proves it 

Ive always been an OPI girl until nails inc came along 

now I will happily use either

I did not know what colour I wanted to wear today and so i almost opted for a taupe

 - Jermyn street (no less)

and then my eyes fell on this shade that ive not yet tried as you can see in the pic this was on offer at boots with Diet coke -Amazing offer!

1 coat of nails inc in heather grey -no top coat !

I think this is one of my favourite shades for autumn / fall
