Since the day I first purchased MAC's liquid last liquid eyeliners I have shared a love hate relationship with the product.
Why?
Love Because it lasts all day due to the thick long lasting formula, It is such a thick formula that it can be described as molten plastic. From the moment you put it on to the moment it dries it is budge proof.
Hate because it is so budge-proof that it is almost un-remove-able. I have tried very reputable products to try to remove the liquid last and it just does not come off.
Products I have used to try to remove the liquidlast liners
-clinique take the day off -dual phase makeup remover for lids, lashes and lips
-clinique take the day off cleansing milk.
-clinique rinse off eye makeup solvent
-pure olive oil
-johnsons baby oil
-superdrugs/boots eye makeup remover pads
-gatineau floracil eye makeup remover
-simple cleansing wipes
-boots cleansing wipes
-boots no7 cleansing wipes
-simple conditioning eye makeup remover
-prescriptives px quick remover eye makeup remover
-dior refreshing cleansing water for face and eyes
-lancome bi facil eye makeup remover
-lancome galateis clarte gentle clarifying and cleansing fluid face and eyes
-bobbi brown instant long-wear makeup remover
-various baby wipes inc -huggies, pampers, boots, simple, supermarkets own brands.
Then due to a limited edition makeup set from MAC called upstarts lined and lashed containing, mascara, lash primer, and my fave glitter eyeliner pencil in night sky, and a mini MAC pro eye makeup remover I was finally able to put the staff at MAC's claim to the test.
so heres the cream of the experiment. The final result is that the MAC pro eye makeup remover does also not remove the liquid last liner.
So what ever remover you choose to use you will be left with some liquid last liner remains on your eyes.
